Jean Michel is a fantastic chef we had multiple delicious courses. The main course stood out, the filet was cooked excellently, mushroom sauce spot on the chips were hand cut and fried to perfection! Catherine was a great hostess we had a lovely champagne with violet flowers. Thanks for everything!

My husband and I came from London to try the restaurant this week, as we were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. The food was exceptional, chef incredibly attentive, and we both loved every course - especially the homemade fois gras! My husband said it was the best meal he had all holiday :). Had the best time enjoying the salmon gravalax, stake fish and to top it all - the creme de la creme - creme brulee! Catherine and Jean were so sweet with the kids and really warm and hospitable.

We stayed in the cottage at Le Clos Des Lys, to break up a long drive back from the mountains. The hosts made us feel welcome with a glass of the local champagne, and later we ate in the restaurant, where Jean-Michel prepared some excellent food. He made a simpler meal for the children too, which went down well. Add to that great wine and outstanding hospitality from Jean-Michel and Catherine. Would highly recommend a stay!

Ate here our first day of vacation in France. The day started out very long and stressful with travel but couldn’t have ended better with Catherine and Jean Michel.They truly make your family feel like they are their family. Definitely the most special meal my family has shared together. Not the fanciest or most expensive but by far the most special. Was looking forward to this meal for months as planned well in advance and exceeded expectations ten-fold.They make an amazing duo and make you feel like you’ve known them forever. Such a special way to spend a few hours in Champgne. Much more than just a meal.
